Screw press
The screw press is a high-performance combination device that was specially designed for the transport and efficient dewatering of thin sludge.
In the mixing reactor, polymer is first added to the sludge to achieve better flocculation. The sludge is then continuously introduced into the press, where it is pressed against a pressure cone by the screw conveyor and compressed. The polymer dosage is monitored by a flow meter and controlled using PID.
The excess water is removed through a high-flow sieve, which ensures high throughput and outstanding drainage results. The high-flow sieve is passed 1-3 times per hour through the automatic basket cleaning rinsed with fresh water. The filtered water is fed back into the process or the reservoir of the flotation plant.
The robust construction of the screw press guarantees a very long life and minimal maintenance costs. Ideal for companies that value efficiency, durability, and low operating costs.
